A very fun piece to work on. Mitt was missing the cross bar of the webbing. Replaced that with a modified spare bar and took the mitt through two light dye applications by Fiebings Pro Black Leather Dye. Finished with Fiebings Resolene (60/40 PH neutral water to resolene). Mitt was deep cleaned throughout with Ballplayer Balm products. 3 staged conditioning with Ballplayer Balm Pro Conditioner as well. Laces by Flatbill Baseball (3.5/16 and 1/4), skived where appropriate and quarter inch for the webbing. Old palm adhesive extracted and replaced with a light application of oven heated glove grease from GluvLuv.
Webbing laced with prestressed, 1/4, Flatbill Co lace.
Replacement bar was from a Wilson A2000 XLO piece. had to modify holes with a Dremel to match widened Mizuno placement. Dyed to match as well.
3.5/16 laces prestressed, skived and rough side protected with an application of beeswax.
